This spoon pipe has a carbhole or kickhole (airhole) on the side for easy inhalation. So how does it work? Simply pack your crumbled herbs into the bowl, put your finger on the carbhole, and then light the herbs and inhale. Just before you stop inhaling, lift your finger off the carbhole to let fresh air in and draw all the smoke out of the pipe. This keeps the pipe cleaner because there is no smoke left in the pipe after you're done, and also makes it easier to fully inhale your tasty hit.

Although it's not necessary, we recommend using a bong screen or pipe screen to prevent any of the crumbled herbs or ashes from being sucked into the pipe. But nonetheless, it will work fine without a screen thanks to the small intake hole.
