Since 2015, Coffeeshop Magic has delivered great cannabis from the center of Hague. Today we visit the winner of multiple Highlife Cannabis Cups, Coffeeshop Magic to unravel what makes this coffeeshop special.

Overall Experience

Located near Spuistraat, Coffeeshop Magic is located in the center of the Hague making it accessible to many including locals and tourists.

As you approach closer, the neon lights fill the exterior and interior with its relaxing atmosphere. Though the Coffeeshop is modest in size, it is equipped with a 2 floor lounge area, however, it is currently closed due to the CO-VID Pandemic. The top floor is very spacious with low tables, couches, and funky lights. Even with many competitors around, the lounge was very popular with many spending the whole afternoon relaxing.

The queue outside was quite long but moved quickly as they have a maximum of 3 counters to order from. The staff are passionate cannabis experts and will always have the knowledge to answer any queries.

I simply asked the budtender what strains I should try and was quickly responded to with "Strawberry Kush". Magic is known for their flavorful cannabis mainly focusing on Kush strains. Strains such as Gorilla Banana Kush, California Kush, and Strawberry Kush.

They also hold a wide variety of old school Dutch strains that are familiar to other coffee shops. These are the likes of the White Widow, Amnesia, and S5 Haze. Their quality is amongst the top with many Highlife Cup victories to their name.

Strawberry Kush

Strawberry Kush from Coffeeshop Magic was the most flavorful weed that I've tried at any Coffeeshop in the Hague and just smelt like a fresh strawberry out of the ziplock bag. This Hybrid strain has a relaxing body high. Popular for its powerful musky strawberry taste, I understood why a large majority of the reviews of Coffeeshop Magic praised this strain. The trichomes were apparent all over the fresh healthy leaves and the taste was delicious and identical to a strawberry but rather than eating it, I was smoking it!

Amnesia Coffeeshop Magic Den Haag

Amnesia

An old school Dutch strain, Amnesia was the other bud that I picked up as I was recommended it. A strain familiar in any coffee shop, it is one that describes the standard in quality. The sativa strain was once again very fresh and covered in trichomes. A very strong citrus and earthy mix with psychedelic effects were a great combination and I am excited to go back for more.

Closing Remarks

Coffeeshop Magic offers one of the most flavorful and potent weed available in the Hague. With their own strain such as "Magic Dynamite" and passionate workers always striving to provide their great information about cannabis to their consumers. I'm excited to go back and try more of their stuff and see them winning more Highlife Cups in the years to come.
