Coffeeshop Green House Secret Farmers (Den Haag) Review

Today we visit the multi-award winning, and recently renovated Green House Secret Farmers located in the center of Den Haag.

Overall Experience

Green House Secret Farmers is a quick 8 minute walk away from the Den Haag Centraal Station making it accessible due to its popular location.

As I enter inside, I immediately notice the large menu board covering most of the walls' surface. This menu board includes the origins and effects of all of their products making it great for newer customers to know what they're buying. Not just the menu board, but the staff are always working to better the experience for the consumers, and are knowledgeable about cannabis.

The menu includes a vast variety of weed and hash and is the only coffeeshop in The Hague that offers Nederhash (ice hash) which has even won the best hash and extraction in last years Highlife Cup.

They also offer Rolled Royce cannagars (cannabis cigars) which contain 2 or 1 grams of flower with a glass filter. With glass filters, it allows you to smoke all portions of the herb with no tar on your fingers and lips.

The interior of the coffeeshop is very modern and cozy due to its recent renovation which gives the place a chill and charming vibe. And though the lounge inside is currently closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it definitely is a talking point. The lounge area is spacious with a large TV and an interactive game table where an assortment of games are available. This area to relax makes Green House Secret Farmers the perfect place to spend the day and smoke with friends. I hope to visit once the pandemic settles down and it opens up to review it in more detail.

Quality of weed

During the visit I picked up the S5 Haze and the infamous Karel's Haze #8 as those were strongly recommended by the budtender as a must-try.

The "S5 Secret Farmers" is their home grown S5 Haze; a popular Dutch strain. The bud was coated in trichomes and was very dense. Breaking the nug apart, a strong citrus and minty odor breaks free and left my fingers very sticky.

Smoking the S5, I noticed the strong piney taste and its visual effects. Different to a psychedelic visual, it was more of a clear headed high. I recommend having plenty to drink nearby when smoking as the dry mouth that I experienced with this strain was like no other.

Karels Haze #8 was more of a personal recommendation from the budtender as it was her favorite strain. This Sativa dominant hybrid is made from Old School Haze and Chem Dog OG Fire and is a very pungent strain.

Karel's Haze had a strong tropical sativa taste with its fresh hint of citrus but immediately knocks you back with the pungent and gassy aftertaste. With it's high THC percentage of 27%, you're left super giggly and euphoric.

With great strains and cannabis products that are hard to come across in The Hague, friendly and professional workers, and a beautiful store with great modern interiors, Green House Secret Farmers is one of the best coffeeshops to just relax in all-day and a reliable store to pick up some high quality weed.
