Artsy Ice Bong (Beaker) Black Leaf

This medium-sized Artsy Ice Bong (Beaker) Black Leaf is a simple but very elegant glass bong made of strong borosilicate glass ("Scientific Glass"). The sandblasted patterns combined with colour gradients give these German bongs a very luxurious and high-end appearance... at a very good price!

Thanks to the simple design of this bong, it is very easy to clean (using just a little bit of Pipe Juice or Pipe Dust bong cleaner). There are no percolators or other obstacles that make it hard to reach the inside with a brush, apart from three ice spikes that hold ice cubes for cooling down the smoke very effectively (but you can easily pass by these ice holders with your brush). Just don't clean the outside of the bong with aggressive detergents or scratch it with sharp objects.

Even though the bong itself is quite simple, its design allows for great flexibility and lets you upgrade or modify it as you wish. Because the bong is fairly small, it works extremely well in combination with a vaporizer or a dabbing banger for smoking concentrates. Then again, it's big enough and holds enough water to smoke comfortably and to be able to fill it with big, dense smoke clouds. This piece offers the best of both worlds.

As (almost) always, this Black Leaf Beaker Bong has an SG19 (18,8mm) grind or joint for the downstem, and the "inner cut" downstem has an SG14 (14,5mm) joint for the bowl or slide. These are universal sizes, which allow you to fit the bong with basically all sorts and brands of bong accessories that we and other shops have for sale.

The outside of the bong is very beautifully decorated with different sandblasted patterns (modern art-deco patterns with the Black Leaf logo beautifully incorporated in the design). These bongs really stand out and look much more expensive than they really are. But these small beaker bongs are actually of very good quality with perfectionized details, such as a comfortably rounded mouthpiece and a very stable flat bottom that makes it possible to put fairly heavy additions onto the bong, such as pre-coolers, ash catchers or terp slurper bangers. Also, the included downstem is a so-called diffuser downstem, which highly improves cooling and filtration of the smoke while reducing bubble noise. The bong slide (or slider, also known as the bowl) is fitted with a flat round glass handle for maximum smoking comfort and ease, to empty the bowl into the ash tray or to pull it out of the bong while smoking to "clear the bong".

But actually, there's no need to pull up the bowl or slide: this bong has a carbhole or kickhole, that lets fresh air into the bong just like lifting a bowl would. But wait, I prefer bongs without a kickhole, and I like to pull out the slide! Well, that's your choice, because this bong comes with a plug for closing off the kickhole, so that you don't have to use it anymore! It gives you the freedom of choice. So what is better, smoking with the slide, or using the carbhole? Basically, each method has its own pros and cons, so it's purely a matter of personal preference. The bottom line is that this bong allows you to do both!
